chapter 8:
what julia gathered


  Julia went on to explain what happened from her perspective on how she escaped, and it confirms everything I suspected happened. 'A few days before it happened, I was doing some research on the entity that had been stalking us. I remember I was just finishing writing notes on the entity in the suit when suddenly I was attacked by the man with the razor knives. It started when I heard a noise coming from outside. When I stepped outside, I remember hearing laughter. Then he revealed himself. He kept on laughing and then said to me with his weapon ready, 'Don't fear me, Julia.' And then I ran back inside and into my room. I thought I was safe from him, but when I gathered my things, I was jumped and he almost slashed my arm. Then I ran out the door. He was blocking the way, so I jumped out the living room window.'
   Julia left out the part about the strange drawings she had on her desk. So I asked her 'What about the scribblings on your desk?' Julia looked at me with rare inherent confusion in her eyes. She started panicking when she started answering, 'What do you mean by scribblings? What the heck are you talking about?' I showed Julia the drawings that I took from her desk. When Julia saw the drawings, she started to panic even more and would eventually start crying. 'Chris? Jason? Why are you showing me this?' She couldn't even believe what she was seeing. 'I don't even remember doing this.' Chris then began to hug Julia, as he knew how scared she was. We all decided to take a break from speaking on the matter until Julia would eventually calm down.
    Chris, after comforting Julia, asked her about what she had gathered. Julia looks into her bag and takes out a scrapbook full of news articles and ordinary pictures, which we thought were normal. But when we looked again, we noticed in one of the pictures, a man appeared, a figure with tendrils coming out of his arms and back. 'Is that him?' I wondered. Then Julia showed us a picture of what seems to be a location where a ritual or a ceremony takes place. I was taken aback when I started thinking back to the time I found those YouTube channels dedicated to that thing. Julia then showed us an article on a missing person's case that remains unsolved to this day. 'Something isn't right here,' I muttered to myself. On the other hand, Chris looked at me and said, 'what's up? Something on your mind?' I told him that I was fine and that it was nothing. Julia then closed her book. 'The man in the suit is not even a man; it is an entity of unknown origin. Every article, every photograph I found, every story I searched up on the internet, that thing is everywhere. Jason, do you remember feeling anything whenever you felt its presence?' I then started looking back at the many times I had that strange feeling and confirmed it. 'Jason, I think you might be psychic. That entity we keep encountering, you feel its presence every time. The entity works like a spirit. The only reason we have been seeing it is because of the psychic energy you unleashed when we first encountered it back at the cabin,' I quickly pointed out. 'But it doesn't even explain why both you, Chris, and Donnie, who was alive at that time, lost your memories. It wasn't until I told you about the cabin incident that you all started regaining them. What was that about?' Julia then started thinking and remembered an article about how one person was found in the middle of the woods wearing a mask and did not even remember what happened. 'That, I do not know.'
   I started thinking about Donnie, I remembered back on the trip to the Pine Barrens when Donnie started acting a bit strange, like he was staring at Julia. "Hey, do you guys remembered when Donnie started acting weird on the second day of that camping trip a few years ago?" Julia recalled to that time after I asked about it. "You mean when Donnie wouldn't stop staring at me and you had to tell him off?" I then looked at Julia "Yeah, It kind of made me wonder why Donnie acted out so badly when I rejogged your memories. It was like he was hiding something, and refused to listen." Julia then responded saying "are you implying that Donnie may have been stalked by the entity back at the woods?" 
"I mean it would make sense why he was acting weird. Maybe we should head to his house." Chris said. "Chris, how in the hell are we supposed to do that? That place is a crime scene, part of a ongoing investigation." Chris then says "we can break in, it's probably abandoned now. The police would probably not care." I then said "Chris, this is a bad idea. Your thinking about committing a felony, like breaking and entering." Chris was acting stubborn but then said "look, it's been a few months since Chris was killed. The police have deemed it a cold case. And besides, I have his house key." I then started thinking about it, and Julia agreed to do a investigation into Donnie's room. I hesitated and I eventually decided to do it. But what Me, Chris and Julia would find then, it shook us up a little bit.

chapter 2: the pine barrens/the abandoned cabin Pine Barrens Woods Day 1    After we arrived at the Pine barren woods, Chris decided to take a look around after we set up camp. Setting up camp wasn't easy, because the way you have to put up a tent requires some rope and some bolts. The only people who were working on the tents was Me, Chris, and Julia. Donnie was doing absolutely nothing but being absolutely lazy on his ass playing angry birds. After I asked him many times to help us, he refused to do it. I wasnt sure if it was out of spite or what, but I wish he could've just helped. The tent was finally finished and Julia went back to the jeep and told Donnie off about being lazy. chapter 3: the footage/the possession July 2011 One year after the trip    I was once hesitant on whether or not I should look over the footage. I keeped having nightmares from that day in the woods. Nightmares depicting that man, that strange man. I couldn't even tell if it was a man at all. I still somehow remembered what happened when we were teleported. But I somehow still remembered encountering it, but Chris, Julia, and Donnie didn't remember a thing. Did that thing erase thier memories? Cause I remembered Julia screaming bloody murder when she saw it. I still remember her screaming "what the hell is that?" But she couldn't even remember. I hadn't even thought of that incident since, but just recently I found the camera again in my closet. When I found the camera, it brought back the time I wanted to look at the footage.
